J. BUCKEYE EPSTEIN – CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER |
Mr. Epstein has over 25 years of a diverse background in sports, marketing and financial management. At age 30 Mr. Epstein was named President of Major League Baseball Youth Marketing Program MLB “Pitch, Hit and Run”. During Mr. Epstein’s tenure in this industry, he has produced, organized, managed and raised millions of dollars in grassroot sports events. He has managed national events for brands, organizations and corporations such as the NFL, Miller Brewing Company Racing, Miller Brewing Pro Beach Volleyball, Universal Pictures, Ford Motor Company, E! Entertainment, Gatorade, Nike, Champs Sports, Russell Sportswear, Champion Sportswear, and more. |
Mr. Epstein’s entrepreneurial expertise began at the age of 16 when he opened his own skateboard shop. He later sold his business at a profit after accepting a wrestling scholarship to Drake University, where he majored in Business Administration and Marketing. After college, Mr. Epstein served as a broker at the Chicago Board of Trade in addition to owning his own NASD stock and commodities brokerage firm. |
Mr. Epstein shall serve as Commissioner of W.A.R. for the inaugural season. |
